Just like Him. (Arms reach to God)

Memory Verses: 1 John 4:9-11 (NIrV) (Only verses 10 & 11 for ImagiNation)

Verse 9

God showed (Point up, pumping arm twice)

His love for us (Make a heart with your with your fingers)

When he sent his only Son (Brush right hand against/past left hand)

Into the world (Make a circle with arms)

To give us life. (Wiggle your body)

Verse 10

Real love (Fist pounds heart)

Isn’t our love for God (Shake index finger in “no” motion)

But His love (Point up)

For us. (Thumbs point to self)

God sent His Son (Rock a baby)

To be the sacrifice (Arms stretched out to side)

By which our sins are forgiven. (Pretend to dust/clean self off—wipe arms)

Verse 11

Since God loved us (Hug yourself)

This much (Measure with hands in front then to side)

We must love each other. (High five someone)
