The Volunteer Ministry is looking for a Volunteer Director. This position requires great people skills, as well as strong leadership abilities. Proficiency in time management and organization desired, and experience in communication is a must. This role will be leading volunteer team leaders and team connectors for the Guest Services Ministry.

This role is full time at our Greenwood Campus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide owners an easy way to step into serving roles on the Guest Services teams through inviting, contacting, setting up first serve opportunities, and follow-up.
• Lead volunteers serving by encouraging and empowering them to do ministry on a level that generates excitement about Jesus. 
• Develop guidelines for volunteers that are in lead positions by providing clear direction prior to Sunday’s and/or events.   
• Train volunteer leaders in vision casting and communication procedures that remain in line with the vision of NewSpring Church.
• Manage teams by effectively caring, training and equipping them in volunteer ministry.
• Improve environment for our guests by always going the extra mile in preparation for any time we have guests at our facility.  Maintain a calm and collected environment for our guests through your leadership.

Requirements

• Fulfill the requirements of the NewSpring Ownership covenant
• 1 year experience in a leadership role
• Proficiency in communication and leadership
• Work schedule will be 35 hours a week, Monday – Thursday and all services on Sunday
