Sunday at KidSpring (Elementary):: May 27, 2012

05.27.12

We had so much fun today at Beginagin Theme Park!

In Large Group, Zip told Andy that she was not ok because something strange is going on in the park . The days are beginning again each day!  Since Zip was able to tell Andy that she was not ok, they were able to start trying to figure out what was going on! Zip and Andy learned from a story Wil Winagin told us from Mark 5-21-43, Luke 8-40-56, and Matthew 9-18-26. We learned It's OK To Not Be Ok!

Come back next week to see what else we learn from Zip and Andy!

Sunday at KidSpring (Preschool):: May 27, 2012

05.27.12

This Sunday in KidSpring, preschoolers went Off the Rails to learn that "God Cares For Me!" We saw how God cares for us through a Bible story called "Jars of Oil" in 2 Kings 4:1-7. See our friend Zingo tell this true story by clicking below. Check back later this week to find out how preschoolers learned "God Cares For Me" in small group!

Preschool Rules!

05.24.12

Every week preschoolers in KidSpring are encouraged to follow two rules: Be Kind & Be Safe! Click below to see how Zany Lainey reminds us of these rules during our Off the Rails at SpringTown Fun Park series. Maybe these rules will work for your family, too!

Preschool Craft:: May 20, 2012

05.22.12

One reason preschoolers can say "I Love My Church!" is because KidSpring is a fun place where they learn about Jesus on their level. Each week, older preschoolers have fun making a craft! This week they made postcards to use to invite their friends to church (see below).

When we invite people to church, we are like the first church in Acts that we learned about this Sunday. Help your child invite someone to church this week by giving them or mailing them the postcard your preschooler had fun creating this Sunday!

05.20.12

We had so much fun this week at Beginagin Theme Park!

In large group, Zip and Andy Made their way to the top of the leaderboard of the Ultimate Theme Park Challenge by riding the Farris Wheel 8 times to gain 800 points each! Then, Fil Finagin announced that the person at the bottom of the leaderboard was going to be taken out of the competition unless someone wanted to give some of their points away. Zip and Andy decided to work together to each give away 500 points. By working together, they were able to do something great!

Wil Winagin told us the story of the Early Church from Acts 2:42-47. From this story, we learned God Does Great Things Through His Church!

Kids had a special assignment in small group to show that God STILL does great things through his church today. We're asking every K-5th grader to bring ONE can of food with them to church next week. Together, everyone in KidSpring will be able to help our community more than we could on our own!
