On Sunday, we learned I Am Valuable To God! Since the world tells kids some things that are untrue, we want kids to be armed with Scripture to help them remember that they are valuable to God! Here are a few situations we discussed in small group on Sunday and the Scripture used to fight those situations:
This can be a great activity for your family to do while at home or even in the car! Think of other things your child might struggle with and help them learn to look in God's Word when they want answers. Remind them that I Am Valuable To God!
Throughout our eight-week Off the Rails at SpringTown Fun Park series, preschoolers are trying to remember Mark 12:30 (ERV). You can practice it at home with your preschooler, too! We put some motions with it to help your little ones remember it better:
"Love (cross arms over chest)
The Lord your God (point up)
With all your heart, (pat heart)
With all your soul, (clasp hands in center of chest)
With all your mind, (tap temples)
And all your strength." (show off arm muscles)
Mark 12:30
All our preschool friends went Off the Rails this week in SpringTown Fun Park to learn that God Has A Plan For Me! In small group we used our eyes and ears to play "Zany Lainey Says". We learned that our eyes and ears can help us find God's plan for us. We can use our eyes to read about God's great plans for us in the BIble, and we can use our ears to listen for God's plan when we pray. We can listen to God just like Samuel did in 1 Samuel 3. Zingo told us this Bible story in Large Group during the "Zany & Zingo Show". Click below to see!
Check back later this week to see more of what your child did in KidSpring this Sunday. Have a great week!
We had so much fun this week in Beginagin Theme Park! In Large Group, Zip and Andy were about to give up in the Ultimate Theme Park Challenge. Someone inside the park convinced them that they were scaredy cats and wouldn't ever be able to win. Thankfully, they agreed to play a game that Wil Winagin made up after reading a story from Mark 10:13-16. From this story, we learned I Am Valuable To God!
Check in later this week to find out a game you can play at home to teach your kids I Am Valuable To God!
On Sunday, we learned a new Memory Verse for our new series Off The Rails! Our Memory Verse is found in Ephesians 3:18. You can practice this at home with the motions:
"And may you (point to others)
have the power to understand, (point to temples)
as all God's people should, (spread arms to sides, palms up)
how wide, how long, (left arm out wide, right arm out wide)
how high, and how deep (right arm up high, left arm down low)
His love is." (cross arms on chest)
