On Sunday, Up and Adam told us that the Bible is a giant love story all about God's love for us! We learned that we feel God's love when we read the Bible and do what it says. To show us that "The Whole Bible Is About God's Love For Me," Up and Adam decided to take a walk through the Bible. Along the way, they saw many different stories from God's word to see how He loves us! Their journey through the Bible began in Genesis, when God created Adam and Eve. We heard the stories of many great people in the Bible like Noah, Moses, and Abraham. At the end of their trip, Up and Adam explained about how God sent His son, Jesus, as an ultimate sign of His love for us. Check out the video that your children saw on Sunday!

Meet our Safari friends, Up and Adam, and check out the video below to see the amazing Bible stories our elementary-age kids saw in large group this Sunday. Take time this week to read or talk about these stories with your kids, and then discuss how these stories show us that the Bible is the most amazing book.
Throughout our new series, Out in the Wild: African Safari, we are opening our eyes to the wonderful things in the Bible. We are learning about WHO God is and HOW He tells us to live. In Small Group, we shared our favorite stories from the most amazing book - the BIBLE! This week, ask your kids what their favorite Bible stories are, and share your favorite stories with them!
Each series, we practice memorizing a verse from the Bible that helps us remember what we are learning. The verse for this series is a prayer we can say each time we read the Bible. It is found in Psalm 119. Preschoolers are learning verse 18 while Elementary school kids are learning verses 17 and 18 from the Easy-to-Read Version (ERV). You can practice these verses with your kids throughout the week, and if they have them memorized by June 16 (the last week of the series), they will win a wild prize!

This week, elementary kids were back in outer space in the year 2115. The Commander of the space station let everyone ask for one thing. Comet asked to be the Commander for the day and the Commander let him! Comet became overwhelmed with everything he had to do as commander. But Comet didn’t want to ask the Commander for help because the Commander is really busy. Thankfully, Sam reminded Comet of Solomon’s story from the Bible.
In Part 1 of the story, God tells Solomon to ask for anything and He will give it to him. Solomon prays and asks for God to make him wise. God hears Solomon and tells him that he will be wiser than anyone who ever lived.
In Part 2 of the story, we see an example of the great wisdom that God gave to Solomon. King Solomon had become well known for his wisdom and people would come from all over for his advice. One situation involved two women and a baby. Both of the women claimed that the baby was hers. Solomon, in his great wisdom, came up with a clever solution for determining who the true mother of the baby was.
