During our second week At the Movies, K-5th graders learned to Be Confident! We compared the story of Rapunzel in Tangled to the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in Daniel 3. All of the characters were confident in what they believed, and they helped us learn that we can be confident in God!
Join us next week for another great movie, and in the meantime you can practice our Memory Verse:
"Stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love." 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
This Sunday, K-5th graders had fun At the Movies! For the next three weeks we will be watching clips from our favorite movies and learning important lessons about God. This week, Woody from Toy Story 3 helped us learn to Be Caring.
In small group we read about Jesus washing his disciples' feet in John 13. He cared deeply for the people around Him, and we should follow his example!
Join us next week for another great movie, and in the meantime you can practice our new Memory Verse:
"Stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love." 1 Corinthians 16: 13-14
This Sunday, preschoolers were At the Movies! For the next three weeks some of our favorite movie stars, BOZ the Bear and the Baxter family, will teach us about God through different BOZ the Bear movies. This week BOZ told us about all the yummy fruits and vegetables God gives us to eat, and we learned to say:
Thank you God (reach arms up to sky & look up)
For Yummy (rub tummy)
Fruits (right palm up beside shoulder)
And Vegetables (left palm up beside shoulder)
Your family can watch the BOZ movie we saw this Sunday by purchasing the "Thank You God For...Bananas, Bubbles and Busy Bodies" DVD. BOZ the bear even has his own website for you and your kids to enjoy!
Join us next week for another great movie starring BOZ and the Baxters, and in the meantime enjoy some yummy summer fruits and vegetables while you practice our new series Remember Verse:
“Give thanks to God—(look up as arms reach up)
He is good (two thumbs up)
and His love (hug yourself)
never quits." (keep arms hugged & shake head “no”)
1 Chronicles 16:34 (hold up one finger)
This week, preschoolers finished up their time on the farm by reviewing all the Fruit of God's Spirit. We learned that we cannot grow the fruit of God's Spirit on our own, but Uncle Earl told us just how God can grow these good things in our hearts:
Join us next week as we begin a new series called At the Movies starring Boz the Big Green Bear!
This past Sunday was amazing as KidSpring and our adult services collided to show everyone what happens in KidSpring each week. If you missed it, click here to watch the entire service!
Be sure to practice remembering Galatians 5:22-23 this week. If you can say the verses by yourself this Sunday, you'll win a prize!
