This week in The Great Race, we traveled to the Swiss Alps for a sled race where we learned that we should keep on telling others to do what is right!
In Large Group, each team had to sled halfway down the slope, pick up the team flag, and then continue down the slope to the finish line. Dr. Despair attempted to cheat by sending Peggy Panic to cause an avalanche, trapping Kip and Jenny under the snow. Kip Daring was able to foil Dr. Despair's evil plan by telling Peggy Panic to do the right thing and not cause the avalanche. It looks like Kip Daring will hold on to the championship medal for yet another week!
In our Bible Story from Nehemiah 5:1-13, some men and women told Nehemiah about a problem they were having. The poor families did not have enough money for food and had to sell their children into slavery! When these families told Nehemiah what was going on, he called a meeting and told everyone that this was the wrong thing to do! Nehemiah made sure that the poor families were taken care of and did not have to sell their children into slavery. From this story, we learned I Will Keep On Telling Others To Do What Is Right!
