Riley Cummings Anderson Campus Pastor “I can't wait to watch the Lord continue to change the community of Anderson!”
Riley received Christ at an early age, but it was at NewSpring that he learned to love and pursue the Lord. He began attending the Anderson Campus as a student at Clemson and the Lord used the people there to change his life. Riley has always loved the Anderson and Clemson community, and the opportunity to serve as a Campus Pastor is his dream job.
Andy Green Charleston Campus Pastor “It has been amazing to see all the life-change we have gotten to be a part of so far. We truly believe that the best is yet to come!”
Andy has been in ministry since he was in high school, but says he has grown more in his relationship with Jesus in the last three years while on staff at NewSpring than any other period of his life. He lives with his wife, Angie, and their children in Charleston.
Alden Ellis Columbia Campus Pastor “I believe with all of my heart that the city of Columbia will be reached if we all listen to Jesus and do what He says!”
Alden met Jesus after his freshman year at Anderson University through a Bible study led by Senior Pastor Perry Noble. He joined the staff in August 2005, and has had several different roles in our Fuse Student Ministry and Care Ministry at the Anderson and Greenville Campuses. He became the Columbia Campus Pastor when it launched in 2009. Alden and his wife, Deanna, have been married for nine years and have a son.
Sam Gibson Florence Campus Pastor “I love my church because it changed my life. I’m proof of what we say here all the time—every number has a name, every name has a story and every story matters to God!”
Sam received Christ at the Florence Campus in 2009. Later, he joined the staff serving with our Fuse Student Ministry and, in 2012, became the Campus Pastor in Florence. He and his wife, Leigh Anne, have been married since 2011.
David Nasim Greenville Campus Pastor “I’m so thankful that I get to see all the life-change that happens at NewSpring every day!”
David grew up in Greenville and later attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where he met his wife, Suzette. He operated a real estate company before the Lord called him into full-time ministry. David, Suzette and their children live in Greenville. He has a passion to see his city reached for Jesus.
Matt Alley Greenwood Campus Pastor “I love what I do in Greenwood because I believe Found People Find People, and I’m passionate about reaching the 70,000 people in Greenwood County that don't know Jesus!”
Matt has been attending NewSpring since he was a high school senior in 2002. He and his wife moved to Spartanburg after feeling a call into ministry. Matt served with Fellowship of Christian Athletes at USC Upstate until a vision night in 2011, when the Alleys realized they were called to serve at NewSpring. He joined the staff as the Spartanburg Volunteer Director in January 2012, and then became the Greenwood Campus Pastor in September 2012.
Charlie Bagwell Myrtle Beach Campus Pastor “There are lots of people who are like I was—looking for a church to teach them how to follow Jesus, and invite them in. I’m just thankful to get to be a part of this church!”
Charlie grew up in Spartanburg, then attended Anderson University where he got plugged in at NewSpring. After graduation, Charlie worked in insurance for a few years at local agencies, but had a heart and burden to be a pastor and was just waiting for an opportunity. That opportunity came in the form of the Campus Pastor role at the newly-launched Myrtle Beach Campus. Charlie and his wife, Amy, live in Myrtle Beach.
David Hall Spartanburg Campus Pastor “The reason I do what I do and love NewSpring Church is because I get a front row seat to see people meet Jesus and watch Him change lives every day.”
David began attending the Anderson Campus in the Fall of 2002. He joined the staff in 2006 working with the Fuse Student Ministry, and then moved to Florence in 2008 in preparation for the Florence Campus launch. After serving with Fuse and KidSpring at the Florence Campus, David became the Campus Pastor for our Spartanburg Campus, which launched on Easter 2012. David, his wife Bridget and their daughter live in Spartanburg.
