Glory Through Sufferings

“I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”

Two words jump out when reading this verse: “sufferings” and “glory.”  When we’re going through difficulty, we often lose sight of the fact that God is still working.

Our sufferings don’t begin to compare to the glory God is going to reveal through us. He can use our sufferings to bring glory to Himself. It’s never easy to go through a period of suffering, but knowing God will use us to bring Himself glory should bring us comfort.

Ask yourself, do you believe God is present in your suffering? Do you believe God can use your suffering to bring Himself glory? Theses are tough questions, but the Bible is clear. Will you choose to believe God’s promises?
