Never Sorry

Sometimes I read Scripture, a weird thing happens. I find myself slipping into autopilot. The words start sounding a little more like Charlie Brown’s teacher (“wha wha wwwhaaa”) and a little less like vitally important information. Proverbs 8:13 -14 is like the short leash on an overly-excited dog. These verse can keep you out of traffic if you let them.

“To fear the Lord is to hate evil…Counsel and sound judgment are mine”.

I think back on the things I wish I could change, and not one of my epic regrets happened when I was fearing the Lord. There is not a single mistake that resulted from a decision to heed to Biblical counsel and sound judgement. God grant us the sense to ‘heel’ and not follow our instincts into the traffic.
