Marked by Holiness
Jeremiah struggles with the opposition he faces, this time feeling betrayed by God. He goes on to question God’s integrity, echoing Job’s words when faced with unexplainable suffering. Jeremiah attempts to intercede for the people, asking the Lord to relieve them from judgment.
Paul concludes his first letter to the Thessalonians with instructions on how to prepare for the second coming of Jesus. He reassures them that they are destined for salvation, not for wrath. He ends his letter with a prayer that the church would be marked by holiness at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
