What is Discover Year?

Discover Year is an intentional and structured pursuit of God and His plan for your life. For nine months, you’ll immerse yourself in opportunities to hear God’s voice through:

• Classes
• Group meetings and one-on-one mentoring
• Local and foreign mission trips
• Personal retreats
• Serving opportunities
• Exercise
• Guided reading and book discussions

What is the purpose of a gap year?

Life is full of transitions. None more critical than your teens and 20s. Studies show college students are changing majors at higher rates than ever. Students who have more time to think and pray about their next step are more likely to stick with their decision.

If done right, a gap year helps students learn more about themselves and prepare for the future. Think of Discover Year as a bridge from now to what’s next.
