Communications Director

Position Responsibilities

  • Approve and fine tune communication plans made by team members.
  • Set and maintain the voice and tone of NewSpring Church. 
  • Have the oversight to approve or appoint people to approve words that come from the NewSpring voice.
  • Alongside the lead team, determine the topics we need to share and appoint the seasons in which we share them. 
  • Oversee and unify all communication efforts to ensure we are being most effective. 
  • Assign and approve campaigns to communication team members before they are activated. 
  • Gather and disseminate the vision and details needed in order to create unified communication plans.
  • Help set and evaluate key performance indicators for campaigns.
  • Select and shape stories we share. 
  • Stay up to date on consumer trends and social causes. 
  • Grow in leading a communications team.
