HR Coordinator

Position Responsibilities

  • Uphold HR Vision, Values, and Standards
  • Manage payroll input and assist with payroll processing
  • Prepare payroll paperwork for new hires & staff changes
  • Process new hire payroll paperwork after orientation (I9s, benefit enrollment, direct deposit, etc)
  • Prepare maternity leave payroll breakdowns for staff
  • Oversee the Volunteer Staff roster process (setup & deactivating).
  • Manage & send out all Staff Evals and Reviews including the 3 month & 1 year eval
  • Manage the Staff Signing Day process for position description and employment contracts
  • Process all Staff Background checks and ensure they are up to date each month
  • Manage Staff Random Drug Screening process
  • Oversee Highland College Endowed Student Scholarship process
  • Coordinate the annual Staff Survey process and report ordering with BCWI
  • Manage the staff EQ request and assessment process
  • VOEs (verbal & written)
  • Monitor and respond to
  • Maintain employee electronic files
  • Assist with HR improvement projects as necessary
