#ForSC Dollar Day offering makes a difference

When we give a little, God does a lot. Together as a church, you gave over $26,000 to the #ForSC Dollar Day offering. Here's a look at the impact your generosity had for your church family from across the state.

Aiken Campus

Transportation was a barrier to Sharon's efforts to rebuild her life. She got the keys to a 2016 Nissan Versa thanks to the generosity of the NewSpring family on #ForSC Dollar Day. Read more of Sharon's story.
Sharon was surprised with the car at her home by NewSpring Aiken Campus Pastor Matt Steelman, staff and volunteers just before Thanksgiving.

This house is my answered prayer for a safe, warm place for my kids to lay their head at night

Florence Campus

Lonnie and Tawnya, from the Florence campus, have custody of their granddaughter, Alexandria, and are fundraising to be able to adopt her legally and have full custody. We were able to bless them with $4,500 to help them keep their family together.

Greenville Campus

Yvonne works at the TD Convention Center where our Greenville campus meets. Although she doesn’t attend NewSpring, she has always asked for prayer. We were able to pay her rent through the end of the year and provide some baby items for her new grandbaby.

Hilton Head Campus

Gary and Angie are an active part of our Hilton Head campus. Due to a work injury and hurricane evacuations, their finances were strained. We were able to pay their rent for three months.

Myrtle Beach Campus

Anna is a hard working single mom of four. She recently moved out of her parent's house and into an apartment. She knew this was the bold next step God was telling her to take, but all of her furniture was ruined by mold in a storage unit. Through your generosity, our NewSpring family was able to help her furnish her apartment.

Why do we give?

What would compel someone to give over and above their tithe? The answer is gratitude. A thankful heart overflows with generosity. If God can do this with our $1, what can He do if we give big to the Overflow Offering?

The Overflow Offering provides an opportunity to give out of the overflow of what God has already done for us. As you give, families in your city, your state, and your world will discover why God’s family is no ordinary family.
