Brad
Cooper

Pastor of Direction and Culture

Brad's primary role is to provide direction, so our church builds a culture we're excited to pass down to the next generation.

Brad has a passion for people of all ages and for seeing their lives changed by Jesus. Brad joined the staff in 2006. He served as the primary speaker at Fuse for many years and has led a number of ministries including Fuse, KidSpring, Guest Services, Next Steps, and NewSpring Leadership College.

Brad and his wife, Cory, have two daughters, Campbell and Mary Bradford. They enjoy Clemson football and spending time with family and friends.

Shane
Duffey

Pastor of Ministries

Shane, his wife, Cherie, and their four sons started attending NewSpring in 2003. Shane joined the staff in 2005 and has held a number of leadership positions.

Shane oversees our Central Ministry teams which include Creative Arts, Fuse, KidSpring, Guest Services, Next Steps, Rally and Communications. His desire is to see everyone on staff at NewSpring living out their call to ministry and serving in the best place to use the gifts God gave them.

Howard
Frist

Pastor of Campuses

Howard is a former business owner who began working at NewSpring in 2006.

Howard came on staff as our Greenville Campus Pastor with a goal of figuring out how to make NewSpring work in multiple locations. Since then, Howard has served in several leadership and pastoral roles from campus launch and development to the NewSpring Network.

Currently, Howard oversees our campus pastors and is passionate about seeing God's vision for our church carried out at every campus.  

Howard and his wife, Consie, live in Greenville and have five children: Christian, Caroline, Ryan, Immanuel, and Charity. They enjoy spending time together as a family and with their friends.

Michael
Mullikin

Pastor of Operations

Michael oversees the church’s finance, human resources, IT, web development, new construction, facilities, missions, and Campus Safety teams.

Michael and his wife, Lori, have three children. Michael loves spending time with his family, camping, and hiking. He is passionate about using technology, innovation, and efficient systems to help people meet Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him.

Clayton
King

Teaching Pastor

Clayton was born in 1972 to a 15-year-old mother and adopted into a loving family in the Upstate. Clayton was saved and sensed a call to ministry at 14 and began speaking in churches, youth groups, and local prisons as a teenager. He's been in ministry for 30 years.

As part of the Teaching Team, Clayton contributes to our creativity process in finding the best ways to teach people about Jesus.

Clayton is married to Sharie, and they enjoy working, writing, and speaking together. He is the father of two teenage sons, Jacob and Joseph. He loves good books, black coffee, four-wheelers and anything that gets him outside in the woods.

Dan
Lian

Teaching Pastor

Dan Lian is a husband, father, and gospel ninja. Dan was a frequent speaker at Fuse and joined the NewSpring teaching team in 2017.

Before joining the staff at NewSpring, Dan preached at churches and events around the world. Dan has more than 15 years of full-time ministry experience as a pastor, Bible college lecturer, and traveling speaker. He completed a Master's degree in church practice at Tabor Bible College.

Dan, his wife, Krista, and their two kids moved from Melbourne, Australia, to Anderson where they enjoy no traffic and a growing passion for college football.
