Chris Dew couldn’t keep the good news to himself.
Because of Jesus, he’d gone from hopeless addict to a hope-filled life. Instead of emptiness, he felt freedom and joy.
“I had experienced something so sweet, that I had to have others experience it as well,” Chris says about his calling to share the Gospel.
There was just one problem: He’d wrestled with a serious speech impediment his whole life.
There had to be another way to share his faith other than public speaking.
“I’ll do anything else,” Chris told God.
But the opportunities to share kept coming — in public, on the street, at treatment centers, and to small groups. And along with them came healing for his speech.
Eventually, he began to travel as an evangelist, preaching the gospel at churches across the nation. NewSpring supported Chris’ work with a gift to Chris Dew Ministries of $30,000 in 2017.
As a result of Chris' obedience, more than 3,000 people have surrendered their lives to Jesus.
“I’ve truly found that my spiritual food and my spiritual satisfaction comes from God, and it's increased as I operate in the purpose he’s set out for me,” he says in the video.
