You’re invited to Easter at NewSpring. You don’t have to be certain to come and see.
Easter is more than candy and tradition. It tells the story of Jesus’ final days—what happened, why it mattered, and why it still does. This Easter at NewSpring, you’re invited to come experience it for yourself.
These interactive spaces offer a place to encounter God in an intentional and personal way.
Come learn what Jesus did the night before He went to the cross and how it shapes the way we love others today.
In this family service, come reflect and remember Jesus’ sacrifice, and why it could be called “good.”
On Easter Sunday, come experience the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection through a time of worship, teaching, and response, and the reminder that it is possible to believe again.

FAQs
If you’re new to NewSpring, you might have questions about how we do things and what you should expect at an Easter service. Here are some answers to a few frequently asked questions.
NewSpring is one church in multiple locations across the state of South Carolina. At NewSpring, we want to see everyone everywhere in an everyday relationship with Jesus. In NewSpring services, you’ll experience live worship music, hear a message from the Bible, and have a chance to respond to God.
Anyone is welcome to join us for Easter at NewSpring! We would love to celebrate and worship with you.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes prior to the service time to give yourself time to get settled, grab a coffee, and find a seat! If you’re new to NewSpring on Easter Sunday, turn on your car hazard lights when you pull into the parking lot—our parking team will direct you to convenient parking just for you. Next, you’ll walk into the atrium, where friendly greeters will be waiting to answer any questions and direct you to KidSpring if needed. Then, grab a beverage and make your way to the auditorium for the service.
Our 7:30am Easter Sunday service will be an abbreviated 50-minute service, and our 9:15am and 11:15am services will be around 75 minutes each. We usually start by singing then hear from a member of the teaching team. (Check out past sermons to get a sense of their teaching styles.) At the end of the service, we create space to respond to what we've heard by worshiping through song, praying for one another, taking believer’s communion, and bringing our tithes and offerings.
Most people dress casually, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Every Sunday in KidSpring, we teach kids about Jesus on their level in a safe, fun environment. If you would prefer for your child to join your family in the Easter Sunday service, they are welcome to do so! Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services are for the entire family, and KidSpring will not be available.
All NewSpring campuses will have Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services, and your campus may also host other family-friendly events the week of Easter. To learn more, subscribe to the weekly Need to Know email for your campus, see listed service times above, or visit your local campus page to scroll through the events calendar.
Maundy Thursday is the night before Jesus went to the cross. At the last supper with His disciples, He chose humility by washing their feet. At NewSpring, we observe this day because we want to remember the love that led Jesus to the cross—and let it shape how we love others. At 7pm on Thursday, April 2, you can join us at each NewSpring campus to observe this day together. The Maundy Thursday service will be between 75-100 minutes.
Good Friday is an opportunity to reflect and remember. The crucifixion was a dark moment for Jesus' disciples. But 2,000 years later, we call it "good" because we know what Jesus was accomplishing on the cross. His death led to our freedom! Join us at your local campus for a Good Friday service at 12pm on Friday, April 3. This is a family service, so kids will join us as we reflect on Jesus' sacrifice and look forward to celebrating His resurrection. The Good Friday service will be about 60 minutes long.
