Fuse Intern Internship

This internship is designed for someone who is hungry to grow spiritually and grow the kingdom through serving, leading students, and volunteers in our community. This person’s main responsibility will consist of leading Fuse Groups and growing the number of Fuse Group Leaders for our student ministry. This role requires someone who is passionate about reaching more middle and high school students and their families with the gospel, as well as building, mobilizing, and activating teams of volunteers to reach Bluffton and execute NewSpring Church’s student ministry. Role Expectations:
Lead Fuse Groups for Bluffton Fuse.
- Develop our “first time” guest experience by developing a system for new students that fosters immediate connection and drives long-term student retention.
- Work with Fuse Pastor and Support Area Leader to create & develop an on-ramp system of moving Support Volunteers to Fuse Group Leaders with the goal of increasing the number of Fuse Group Leaders.
- Work with Fuse Pastor to maintain and update Fuse Group Rosters.
- Participate in bi-weekly Lead Team Meetings on Sunday mornings.
- Work with Fuse Pastor and Group Area Leaders to execute Fuse Group Leader Huddles on Wednesday nights.
Serve for the full duration of Gauntlet (June 21 to 25, 2027).
Attend weekly Fuse Ops meetings on Mondays and weekly Fuse Pastor meetings on Thursdays.
Participate in a weekly one-on-one with Fuse Pastor for ongoing care and development.
Attend our weekly staff prayer and celebration meeting (when available) every Monday.
Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
