KidSpring Internship

 Execute and uphold KidSpring’s mission and pillars as defined by the KidSpring Game Plan. 

Give and receive feedback concerning KidSpring’s missions and pillars. 

Represent KidSpring at the Columbia campus by: 

  • Being visible in KidSpring on Sundays, speaking to parents, and connecting with kids
  • Seeking opportunities to provide extra care for kids and families (ex: sending postcards, connecting with first-time families)
  • Connecting with volunteers and ensuring needs are met 


Preparing for Sundays in KidSpring. 

  • Caring for and communicating weekly with volunteers, while equipping them for their Sunday role
  • Knowing and recruiting for specific roles that exist inside each area of KidSpring
  • Preparing KidSpring environments and materials for small groups
  • Coming up with creative ideas to engage kids for the new KidSpring series through toys in rooms, decorations, and photo areas
  • Connecting with potential volunteers and walking them through the New Serve process

Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
