Revelation 2:18-29 reminds us that Jesus is both beautiful and fierce. He is patient, giving time and opportunity to repent. He searches the mind and heart and rewards us according to our works. We must not tolerate personal or corporate sin.

Today, as you read, fast, and pray, may you be aware of God’s presence like never before. May your love, faith, and service along with your hard work and patient endurance be pleasing to the Lord. May you have a readiness to repent from sin and a humble, discerning spirit. 

 Through Christ, may you conquer every fear and always be faithful.

• Ask God to search your mind and heart. Is there any area you may be tolerating sin? 
• Pray for the wisdom and discernment of the leaders and teachers in our church.
