Lamentations 3 reminds us that when the future looks bleak, the days feel long, and injustice is everywhere, we find hope in knowing that God’s love and compassion never run out. The breath in your lungs is proof of God’s faithfulness.
As you pray today, take your time. Breathe deeply, quiet your mind, and wait for the Lord. May His presence fill you with hope and allow you to see things as they really are. May you leave this time declaring with confidence, “The Lord is my portion, therefore I will hope in him.”

- Where do you turn when you’re lacking hope? Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal if you’re looking to anyone or anything other than the Lord for your hope.
