Go It Together
Colossians 4:7-9 tells us those close to us can inform others, serve alongside us and encourage the hearts of those they touch. In our church, we form these relationships though small groups we join, volunteer teams we serve on, and other groups we get involved with.
Getting plugged into small groups, whether a study group or a volunteer team, is a great way to become part of the vision of NewSpring Church. The benefits of being part of a group can include hearing the perspective of others who are listening to the same messages we are, feeling joy in accomplishing something that helps the church achieve its goals and being encouraged in a time of need.
Being involved in a small group, especially serving people in the church in some way, strengthens our sense of belonging and ownership in the purpose of NewSpring Church, which is to reach people far from God and teach them to follow Jesus step by step. The more we invest ourselves in God’s mission, the more meaningful and joyful the mission journey becomes for us.
