Could God ever love me? Could He forgive me? Have I gone too far?
What is salvation, and why does it matter to me?
Why should I follow Jesus?
These are a few of the questions the Apostle Paul answers in his letter to the Roman church. Paul explains in Romans that the Gospel — the good news that Jesus is for us and with us — is for everyone. No matter what we have done, we can still have a relationship with Jesus because of His death and resurrection.
Sin separates us from God, but the Gospel brings us back to Him and changes us from rebels to world changers. God uses both faith and reason to reveal Himself to us. The Holy Spirit works inside us, changing our hearts so we become more like Jesus, and gives us the power to follow Him.
In Romans, Paul shows us how to have a relationship with Jesus, move past our past, and step into the abundant life Jesus has for us.
