Fuse Internship
Aiken, SC
1. Plan and lead outreach initiatives.
- Plan outreach events, team meals, school lunches alongside Fuse Pastor and flood the schools with our presence! Lead or facilitate 1 outreach touchpoint every week.
- Intern will form connections with principals, teachers and coaches to connect Fuse with our surrounding schools.
- Intern will manage our outreach budget and maximize the use of our recourses for the semesters they work.
2. Help Fuse Pastor know the state of our flock.
- As Fuse has grown, it has became increasingly difficult to be sure all groups are correct in our system and all group leaders have up to date rosters.
- Work in tandem with our Fuse lead coaches (Abby Harper, Nick Sanborn) to ensure things stay up to date.
- Memorize Fuse group leaders and the corresponding grade they lead.
- Meet with group leaders regularly to learn how they are feeling about their group. Gain insight on how to better shepherd group leaders individually.
3. Make your presence felt!
- Attend every Fuse, every Sunday gathering, and participate in a discipleship offering weekly. Do this with passion and lead the way in enjoyment of God and His people in each of these spaces.
- At Fuse, learn 3 new students’ names each week and remember them! Knowing a name goes such a long way in making people feel seen and known.
- If gaps exist on Sundays, Wednesdays, or at discipleship offerings, be quick to jump in and help as you are needed.
- Pray. Things move in the unseen as we pray and beg God to move. Don’t make the mistake of making this about us. This is all about Him and what He is doing. Pray without ceasing, begging God to move in our city and within Fuse!
4.Work closely with Fuse Pastor to ensure both are on the same page about the work ahead.
- Weekly one-on-ones
- Consistent communication.
Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
