Fuse Internship

Uphold NewSpring Internships and Fuse mission, pillars, and standards.

Participate and engage in the growth of Fuse ministry at the Charleston Campus.

Outreach:

Plan to spend three to five hours per week on student turf within our city (ex: school lunches, ball games, school events, and with outreach partnerships).
Actively seek out partnerships within local middle and high schools with administrators, organizations, coaches, and athletic teams to discover how we can support them and connect with students on their turf.
Represent Fuse Outreach in weekly leadership team meetings.
Hold leadership responsibilities within weekly Fuse gatherings on Wednesday nights.
Hold leadership responsibilities in the planning and execution of the Gauntlet summer camp.
Leading alongside the Fuse Director and other Fuse volunteers through next step conversations. Practice discernment in real-time conversations to decide if that person is the best fit to lead and shepherd students.
Assist Charleston Fuse New Serve Area Leader with facilitating first looks at the Charleston Campus.
Follow up with parents and students after Wednesday night gatherings.
Serve the entirety of the Gauntlet Summer Camp from June 22 to June 26 in Clemson, South Carolina.

Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
