Guest Services Internship

Guest Services partners with NewSpring’s vision by seeing and serving people to help them connect to Jesus and His church. This internship will focus on creating and maintaining warm, welcoming environments. Someone who is creative and desires to be proactive in improving current environments will be ideal for this role. Candidates should have a heart for people, enjoy hospitality, and work well in a team environment.

This role will include the following:

Being an active part of the NewSpring Clemson team, which includes team meetings, times of prayer, and being willing to do things outside of the role description to help with campus events and initiatives

Partnering with all areas of the Guest Services ministry to upgrade and bring intentional touches of hospitality, with a special focus on making the outside experience (parking lot/front porch) especially welcoming for a guest

Assisting in executing seasonal decor and photo areas for special occasions such as Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Christmas

Maintaining excellent and warm environments in all Guest Services spaces

Innovating and creating ways to make people feel seen and welcome in a special way, cultivating “wow moments” that lead to encountering Jesus through hospitality

Receive intentional training and coaching from your staff supervisor, including weekly meetings to answer questions, provide ongoing training resources, and talk about assignments

Receive bi-weekly mentoring from your staff supervisor to deepen your relationship with God and others

Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
