Outreach Internship

Aiken, SC

Tracking and managing volunteer data in Rock RMS, including onboarding new volunteers and maintaining engagement across Outreach environments such as partner ministries and recovery.

Help create and maintain a consistent rhythm of Outreach initiatives by planning, scheduling, and collaborating with nonprofits and other area churches. This includes monthly serve opportunities, communication touchpoints, and volunteer engagement rhythms. 

Serve as the primary point person for communication and scheduling with community mission partners, ensuring/maintaining relationships and clear coordination.

Lead and develop the Outreach Volunteer Lead Team by identifying, equipping, and investing in key leaders.

Plan and execute monthly Third Saturday serve opportunities, helping mobilize volunteers and create meaningful local impact with our nonprofits in Aiken. 

Serve as the local point person for ForSC initiatives.

Assist in navigating and caring for individuals in need both inside and outside the church, connecting them to appropriate resources and next steps.

Support campus outreach events and initiatives, ensuring excellence in execution and follow through.

Partner with campus staff to celebrate wins, support ministry efforts, and uphold the vision of NewSpring Church.

Carry a high level of ownership, initiative, and accountability while modeling the character and expectations of NewSpring Church staff.

Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
