Position Responsibilities

  • I Will Guard My Moral Authority
    • Protect relational unity with CP, Campus Staff, and Ministry Support
    • Submit to systematic accountability 
    • Own my mistakes
  • I Will Carry and Cast A Passionate Vision for KidSpring
    • Execute KidSpring vision and values in alignment with the overall vision of NewSpring Church
    • Give and Receive feedback on KidSpring vision and value implementation (celebrate and problem-solve) 
    • Represent KidSpring vision and values in campus-wide decision making efforts, being solution-oriented
  • I Will Recruit, Equip and Retain a Qualified Team of Volunteers
    • Lead KidSpring through the development of a Leadership Team 
    • Establish consistent Leadership Team meetings for prayer, evaluation, and planning
    • Set and meet volunteer recruiting goals to match ministry needs by quarter
    • Keep accurate volunteer data in Rock
    • Ensure ministry is led by a volunteer leadership structure with excellent care and communication
  • I Will Provide Pastoral Care for Volunteers, Parents, and Kids
    • Serve our people with available, valuable, visible (AVV) leadership presence on Sundays
    • Demonstrate care for volunteers, parents, and kids through weekday follow up as necessary (ex: coffee, lunch, calls, texts, emails, postcards, in-person visits, etc.)
    • Shepherd volunteer leaders by systematically discussing personal, spiritual, and professional goals
  • I Will Manage the Execution of Campus-Wide Events (volunteer appreciation party, fireworks, etc.)
  • I Will Live Out NewSpring Staff’s Culture Code
