Engadi Ministries is on a mission to restore the children of Guatemala’s slums to their full potential in Christ. By helping boys become men of character and influence, they hope to create a brighter future for families who are fighting to survive.
On this trip, you’ll serve children in Guatemala City’s Zone 18 neighborhoods, a destitute community neglected by many public services. Here, you’ll become part of a program to educate children. You’ll also get involved in ongoing construction projects, building shelter for those without homes or hope. On the rest day, you’ll take a zipline adventure or hike one of the volcanoes in the area.
The cost of the trip is $1,800. This includes airfare, hotel, meals, and transportation while in Guatemala. After being accepted, a $150 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your spot.
You’ll be responsible for meals and snacks in the airports as well as any souvenirs you’d like to purchase. Additional costs may include updating your passport and any vaccines you choose to receive before traveling.
