In Guatemala City, Guatemala, we partner with Nathan Hardeman of Engadi Ministries as well as missionaries Brandon and Rachel Loftus who help lead a Christian school.
On these trips, we aim to get into their lives for a week — to see and learn from all God is doing to establish His kingdom there. We take a serving posture and will work on projects that benefit their community and ministries.
The cost of the trip is $2,000. This includes airfare, hotel, meals, and transportation while in Guatemala. After being accepted, a $150 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your spot.
You’ll be responsible for meals and snacks in the airports as well as any souvenirs you’d like to purchase. Additional costs may include updating your passport and any vaccines you choose to receive before traveling.
We give preference to NewSpring volunteers, but you do not have to be part of NewSpring to apply. If you’re interested in getting involved at NewSpring, join us at Connect Classes.
People of all ages can apply for a trip! In some cases, trips may have a more specific age requirement (ie. a trip with Fuse), but that will be clearly communicated.
Trips to Antigua and Guatemala City last seven days, including travel.
