We are partnered with NewSpring Missionary Mary Elisabeth Bryant in Antigua, Guatemala. On this trip, we will learn from her and the team she works with about all the ways God is working in Guatemala, as well as having the opportunity to come alongside them in their mission of reaching their community for Jesus. We will do this through service projects, house visits, discipleship training, and more.
On these trips, we aim to get into their lives for a week — to see and learn from all God is doing to establish His kingdom there. We take a serving posture and will work on projects that benefit their community and church.
The cost of the trip is $2,000. This includes airfare, hotel, meals, and transportation while in Guatemala. After being accepted, a $150 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your spot.
You will be responsible for meals in the airports as well as any extra snacks and souvenirs you’d like to purchase. Additional costs may include acquiring or updating your passport and any vaccines you choose to receive before traveling.
The first opportunities to go on a NewSpring Mission Trip are given to members of NewSpring Church, but we are open to anyone joining if there is an open spot. If you are interested in becoming a member at NewSpring Church, click here.
People of all ages can apply for a trip! In some cases, trips may have a specific age requirement (ie, a trip with Fuse, our student ministry), but that will be clearly communicated.
NewSpring Mission Trips vary in length, with domestic trips often the shortest, while international trips can be seven to 10 days. All of these trip timelines also include travel!
