Surrendering to God Through Your Finances

Tithing is the practice of giving the first 10% of your income back to God through the local church, and here at NewSpring, we believe in the freedom on the other side of obedience to tithing.

Hear from Patty from Aiken Campus, on her experience with stepping into obedience through tithing: “Since I started tithing, the Lord has shown Himself to me in ways I could have never imagined. He has truly blessed my obedience. The Holy Spirit had been gently nudging me to take this step for a long time. As my love for God grew, so did my desire to surrender everything to Him, especially in the area of my finances. I could go on and on about how much richer my life is now that I am giving Him such a small portion of what He deserves. Tithing requires humility, and humility leads to obedience.”
