Drayton Garrett’s Story

In her freshman year at Clemson University, a friend invited Drayton Edwards to NewSpring.

Drayton had grown up in church, going to Sunday school, memorizing Bible verses, and singing in the choir. But she only saw Jesus as a "church character" — the answer to every Sunday School question. She visited NewSpring, telling herself it might help to make friends.

"What do I have to lose?"

She hadn't wanted to go to church for years, but the atmosphere made her want to come back.

What she discovered was that Jesus was a savior who wanted a personal relationship with her. "He's changing me, and he's going to keep changing me forever."
