Elizabeth and Jamie Salmon were looking forward to the birth of their first child, Bella, until the devastating news of a rare condition plunged the pregnancy into crisis at 23 weeks.

Supported by their family and friends, the Salmons believed and prayed that God would protect Bella from the tragic outcome the doctors feared.

But as Elizabeth's condition worsened, and further complications arose, they were faced with an impossible predicament -- risking a mother's life for the life of her unborn child. In one day, they discovered what it meant to love and to lose with their whole heart.

The situation tested their faith in the love of God and his purposes. But they came face to face with the powerful, awful Truth that even in the darkest storms, God would be with them through them all.
