Are You Rich?

Are you rich? You may say, “NO WAY!!!” Let’s take 30 seconds to evaluate your net worth.

Our wealth can be determined by different sets of values. It’s all a matter of perspective on what you would consider as wealth.

Here are some ways you may determine your personal wealth and/or the wealth of others:

• Financial Wealth (THE most common way we all refer to as being “rich”)

• Relational Wealth (Meaningful relationships with family and friends)

• Spiritual Wealth (Although not tangible, this brings joy, peace, and purpose)

So… Are you rich? Or are you broke?

Now, here is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING you need to know!

Your Heavenly Father is crazy in love with you, and He is able to give you ALL of these riches (2 Corinthians 9:8)! AND not only is He able… He WANTS to bless you (Jeremiah 29:11)!! It is God’s desire to bless you so much that you cannot even spend it all and you leave an inheritance to your grandchildren (Proverbs 13:22) No matter how wealthy you are, there is ALWAYS MORE (Psalm 104:24)!

You may be thinking right now, “How can I sign up to receive these riches?!” The one word answer is, “TRUST” (Psalm 37:5).

God doesn’t want anything from you to bless you in return. He wants you! He desired a relationship with you so badly in fact that He gave the ultimate sacrifice… His Son, Jesus Christ (1 John 4:9). When we place our trust fully in God through His Son, Jesus Christ, then we are opening the floodgates of Heaven to receive His blessings (Philippians 4:19).

We can take steps in trusting God by loving Him (Read Matthew 22:37), loving others (Read John 13:34), giving back our tithes and offerings (Read Proverbs 3:9), and giving our plans to Him (Read Proverbs 16:3). Start (or continue) taking these steps, and you’ll find out why we say, “You Can’t Outgive God." You’ll be amazed by His Faithfulness!
