Session 9
Teth: Your anchor during difficulty
From Psalm 119: 22 Reasons to Love God’s Word
Hardship is a guarantee in this life. We can’t avoid it, but we can choose how we respond to it.
When suffering comes, we can be angry with God, or we can choose to grow. If we’ll choose the latter, difficult times can strengthen our faith. By recalling God’s promises and listening for His voice, we, too, can look back and say, "My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees" (Psalm 119:71).
When your heart breaks, may you find strength in God’s words. May they delight your soul during difficulty and remind you of the eternal joy of knowing the Lord.
Reflect:
- How did you process the latest hardship you faced? What did you learn?
- How did your faith grow during that difficulty?
