Session 18
Walk It Out
From First Things First
READ Proverbs 13
Proverbs 13:20 is one of the greatest verses in the entire book of Proverbs.
“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”
If we want to be wise then we have no business spending all of our time with foolish people! Instead, we must spend as much time as possible with wise people; join a fuse group, spend time with other Christians, read books, hang out with your leader…whatever the case, learn as much as you can from wise people and you will become wiser.
Who are you spending most of your time with at the moment…the wise or the foolish? Who do you consider wise that you can spend time with, listen to, and learn from? If you become who you hang around, then make sure the people you’re hanging around are the people you want to become. If not, do something this week to change that!
PRAY and ask God to identify one wise person that you need to spend more time with, and then make it happen.
Have you signed up? Text FUSE to 89800 and the First Things First Devotional will be texted to you each morning!
