Sharie King was 6 years old when a man she trusted as a father began to abuse her. Over time, the inappropriate touching that he forced her to engage in every morning progressed to more brazen sexual encounters, which Sharie feared deep down would only end in rape.

Desperate to escape the torment but fearing the consequences of telling her mother, she reached out to the God she had heard about in Sunday school -- full of grace and compassion and the power to work the miracle she needed.

In this video, Sharie opens heart about how her personal relationship with Jesus grew out of his dramatic rescue and how she received the courageous grace she needed to heal.
