Repentance is how we break the cycle of sin. It’s a big word with a pretty straightforward definition. Repentance is a change of heart that leads to a change in behavior.

When we sin, the regret we feel leads us to want to change. We confess our sin to God and to each other and ask for forgiveness. But simply confessing sin doesn’t always lead to change. Only when we take steps to change our behavior can we show we’ve truly repented.

If you’ve been holding in sin, you can let out today. Use the button below to connect to someone on the Care Team, or keep reading to learn more about what repentance is and why it matters.
