Session 2
God Wants To Meet With You
From Presence: With Us. In Us. Through Us.
Read: Deuteronomy 4:29, Jeremiah 29:12-14, Hebrews 11:6
It is crazy to think that God, the maker of everything wants to spend time with you. Out of all the things He has to worry about, spending time with you is one of His top priorities.
One question that comes up is “If God is spending time with me how can He be spending time with everyone else?” It doesn’t make sense that God could be everywhere at once and it shouldn’t; God is bigger and greater than we can wrap our minds around.
So if God wants to spend time with just me, what should I do?
The first thing is to make time for just you and God each day. This is commonly referred to as a “Quiet Time” in church. Over the next three sessions we are going to talk about what spending this time with God looks like.
Action: Put 30 minutes on the calendar every day this week to spend time with God.
