Session 4
God’s Presence is Everywhere
From Presence: With Us. In Us. Through Us.
Read: Psalm 139:7-12, John 10:27-28, Matthew 3:17
The first thing to know is that the Holy Spirit (the presence of God) is everywhere. The Bible says that no matter where we go we cannot escape the presence of God. (Psalm 139:7-12) You don’t have to go far to experience the presence of God, the Holy Spirit is all around us. And if you are a Christian, the Holy Spirit lives inside of YOU.
Not only is God all around you, but He wants to interact with you. You are a child of God and your Father wants to talk to you. You don’t have to try to find God, you need to listen for Him. (John 10:27-28)
God does not want to scream at you for everything you have done wrong or nag you for the things you need to do. If we listened for His voice, He would have encouraging things to say to us.
Over the next couple of days we are going to look at how God speaks to us when we are gathered together for a night of Fuse, and when we spend time with Him by ourselves.
