His Presence Changes Us

From Presence: With Us. In Us. Through Us.

Read: Ephesians 5:1-2, Romans 12:2, 1 John 1:9

Have you ever heard someone say, “you become who you hang out with”? Usually when people say that they are talking about the friends you have in your life, but it’s true about your relationship with God as well. As you spend more time with God, you become more like Him.

THAT’S WILD! If you spend time with God you will start to think how Jesus thinks, see people how Jesus sees people, love how Jesus loves and so much more. 

So how does this work? 

Submit to what God says. When the Bible shows you sin in your life, repent. When God makes a promise in the Bible, trust it. If the Holy Spirit tells you to make a bold move, do it. There is more to becoming like Jesus than just knowing what to do, you actually have to do it! The change happens when we act on what God has told us.

Action: Spend some time asking God to show you how you can be more like Him. Whatever He says, write it down and do it.
