His Presence Changes The World

From Presence: With Us. In Us. Through Us.

Read: Acts 4:13, Matthew 18:20, Matthew 5:14-20

Last session we talked about God changing you. 

Once God starts to change you, your life will be filled with so much hope, joy, love and purpose. First God will do this in you. Then he will do this through you for others. 

You may be thinking, “That’s great for everyone else but I am just a normal person.” 

Well... you are in luck. God uses people who don’t appear to be very special. In fact, all throughout the Bible God uses seemingly ordinary people to do incredible things. But people who are living the life God has for them are not ordinary at all. 

Peter and John were disciples of Jesus and this is what the Bible says people thought about them, “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.” - Acts 4:13

So regardless of who you are, God wants to change the world through you. It’s an incredible journey. There are highs and lows and unexpected turns, but following Jesus is the greatest journey there is.

Action: Ask God how he wants you to change the world. Whatever He says, write it down, tell someone who loves Jesus about it, then go do it!
